Worn once ;). I LOVED this dress so much, it’s simple and princess at the same time.
This is a size 4 David’s Bridal Michelangelo tule wedding dress. The dress is in great shape, a little grey along the top edge, but it will come out with a steam, which you will want before wearing! It is many layers; silk, 2 stiff tule, white poly layer, 2 stiff tule, and two finer layers that create the train. It MUST be steamed.
Additionally there is one place where the beading is coming undone, but you really can’t tell. It is at the base of the zipper on the back of the dress.
The bodice is lined and has boning. I wore an additional corset underneath (no boning) for padding. This dress does not come with straps.
The train is roughly 6 feet of on the floor length, but it can be bustled! It is not damaged. I wore the dress with foot jewelry in lieu of shoes, it was a floor sweeper, but ok to dance in if you wear a hoop. I am 5’8”.
I am sending this with a comb style veil as well. It matches the dress well.
This dress has been stored for 11 years and comes from a non-smoking home. I am happy to answer any additional questions you may have.
To be honest, this was not the kind of dress I was looking for when I got married in 2007. I looked everywhere for something more “beach” style. But I came across this dress hanging in a thrift shop and it was love at first sight. I put it on and it fit like it was made for me. I make me sway and I couldn’t stop! I felt beautiful. I didn’t want to love it (it’s really not my style) but I FELT like a million bucks. I felt beautiful. I felt like it was mine. While it’s hard to sell something that meant so much, I really hope I can share the love and help someone else sway into their new life!
